Getting to know each other

When all the kids start school they are nervous and excited. I like to do a poster for the kids to learn all about me (as a teacher). Then each week a new student can share about themselves. Here is an example if a All about me board.

    A game that I usually play is called "Two Truths & a Lie". I give all the students a small piece of paper. They write two things that are true about themselves and one thing that is a lie. Then, they share all three with the class and their classmates have to guess which one is the lie. The students get really creative and it's a lot of fun!
